A Brief History of Trinity Baptist Church:

The first worship service for the newly organized Trinity Baptist Church was held on Easter Sunday, April 2, 1961. The service was held in the auditorium of the First Street Elementary School. Worship service was conducted by the church organizer, Rev. Dr. John H. Wright, Pastor.

On January 20, 1963 the pastor of the First Assembly of God Church Rev. Herbert E. Eicher presented Dr. Wright with the keys to Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. John Wright was called to his eternal Home on July 26, 1964.

On October 6, 1964, Rev. Grady Williams was called to service with unanimous vote to pastor Trinity Baptist Church.

In 1991, Trinity Baptist Church was given a bestowal from the John and Kathryn Bruda family.  This bestowal was in the form of the house and property located on the right side of our church.  The building was remodeled and renamed the Trinity-Bruda Community Center.

Minister Grady E. Price (deceased) and Minister Darryl L. Rodgers served as two of the most recent associates who assisted Pastor Williams in the ministry for nearly twenty (20) years. Rev. Grady Williams faithfully led the flock at Trinity Baptist Church for forty-six (46) years.  He preached his final sermon on May 31, 2011. We bid him a fond and loving farewell as he left our church in good standing and on a solid foundation in the Christian community and in the city of Warren, Ohio.
